A Woodsman's Tales (pilot episode)
Magnus Marthinsen is a tractor and small-engine mechanic that spends most of his time in the countryside. Living a peaceful and beautiful life with animals, fields, forests and of course some interesting machines. In this first episode, "Wildflower". You will get a look into Magnus's life, starting this series out in the spring forest on the search for the spring flowers. Beginning his journey up in the snowy mountains, then working his way down to the magnificent beech forest in the south. It's a wonderful adventure that has many natural surprises, maybe even some supernatural? The keen eye for details in the nature can help you a lot on a wilderness walk. Magnus shares some of his skills, and goes foraging for some wild food, but there is danger in these woods. If you thought stuff like fairies was a Disney thing, like Tinker bell or some kind of cute pixie, you might wanna think again. Wildflowers are beautiful, but some of them can kill you in a heartbeat, literally. Find out which ones you should not eat. Springtime is the birth of the forest and all of the animals is out and about. Magnus finds especially the European badger a fascinating animal. And some fresh tracks leads him to a wonderful sight. No doubt a beautful episode out in the spring forest. Although, back at Magnus's workshop, under a dusty tarp, is a machine, resting, waiting on coming back to life. A monster with a lot of horsepower and torque built with racing- and tractor parts. But the truth is, that machine actually scares Magnus to death. Will he be able to face his fears?
